363 pp with B&W illustrations and one fold-out illustration. Text is clean, tight and unmarked. Stiff covers done in handmade paper are clean and intact with previous owner's name on front cover. The catalog of the exhibition, "The Popes as Builders and Humanists from Nicholas V,1447 through Clement lX 1669" by the University of St. Thomas Art Department, Houston, Texas from March 1966 to may 1966.

London: Jacob Tonson, 1705 An early account of a Gentleman's travels through Italy and Switzerland with a fulsome four page dedication to John Lord Sommers, Earl of Evesham who was then Lord High Chancellor of England. First edition with P. 125 misprinted as P.225. 533 pp.Text is clean and intact. Several copper engravings in text of coins and medals, and Evesham's coat-of-arms in the dedication. Previous owner's name on flyleaf. Original brown leather boards of are spotted and bumped at corners. Edges and spine have are heavily rubbed. Spine is cracked but holding at hinges front and back and about 1/3 of the leather spine is missing. Appears to have had some gold stamping on spine and board edges, now just a shadow. 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. First Edition. Full-Leather. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall.
