There is a sticker from MacDonald & Co New York on the flyleaf and two stamps indicating that this copy was the property of the Max Pfeffer Literary Agency, 45 W. 45th St., NYC. There is also a stamp on the back of the frontpiece stating, "Received Sept 27 1946 Copyright Office."
